You can access the Skipped Entities page under Stores > Wizzy Search > Skipped Entities.
On this page, you’ll find a list of entities (products or pages) that have been skipped for syncing due to various reasons. Here are some reasons why a product might have been skipped for sync:
- Invalid URL: Sometimes, the retrieved product URL is from the admin section rather than the frontend URL. This can occur due to empty URL keys or invalid data in rewrite tables. Admin URL products cannot be displayed on the front end, so they are skipped.
- Selling Price: The selling price of a product must be greater than 0 to be synced with Wizzy.
- Main Image: If a product does not have a main image added, it will be skipped. To prevent this, you can set a default thumbnail image.
- Categories: Each product must be assigned to at least one category. If no categories are assigned to a product, it will be skipped during sync.
- Brand (Configurable): If brands are set to be mandatory during sync, a product will be skipped if it doesn’t have any brand associated with it.
The Skipped Entities page allows the content team to closely monitor and refine data to ensure that products and pages are correctly synced and available to end users in search results. This monitoring helps in maintaining data quality and ensuring a seamless user experience.
